Taking a survey
A Converge survey is something you complete on your own, in your own time. There’s no call to join and nothing to install. It works in a web browser on a computer, tablet, or phone.
Taking the survey
Section titled “Taking the survey”- Open the link you were sent. It may be a personal link in an invitation email or a link shared with a group.
- Enter your first name, last name, and email address, then click Join. Some surveys are anonymous, in which case you’ll see a single Join Anonymously button instead.
- Click Start survey. The opening screen tells you what the survey is about and how many activities it has.
- Answer each page and submit it. You’re taken straight to the next one.
- Finish. After the last page you’ll see Thanks, you’re done. Your responses are saved and you can close the window.
Coming back later
Section titled “Coming back later”You don’t have to finish in one sitting. Your progress is saved as you go. Open the same link again and you’ll see Welcome back, with a bar showing how far you’ve got and a Continue survey button that picks up where you left off.
Surveys have a closing date. If you get a reminder email, it tells you how many activities you have left and when the survey closes.
If something isn’t working
Section titled “If something isn’t working”“Session not accessible yet.” The survey hasn’t opened. Come back at the time you were given.
You can’t find your invitation. Check your spam folder, then ask the person who invited you to send it again.
The link asks for your details again. Enter the same email address you used before, so your earlier answers are matched to you.
You were recruited through User Interviews. After the last page, the survey’s opening screen shows a Submit Task button. Click it so your work is recorded.
